Writing was average at best, but what I object to is the first story, about zombies. It gives you several pages of the story, then the excerpt abruptly ends, and you have a chance to buy the rest of the story from at a " special price".
Bad form.
I don't know what the special price is, as I deleted this right away.
Come on, . You can do better.
Ok read, could be better, could be worse.
Short stories, well written (in the mold of Roald dahl) Enjoy!
This eBook offers two rather very short short-stories that are better suited to children - as an adult, I thought they were not up to snuff, but after further reflection thought this would be perfect for a late elementary school-aged child.
A little creepy for the tween set but stories are supposed to be scary so...also get more than the 2 stories listed!
"Steven, Space Stowaway"is a cute short story about the dangers of hiding in a space ship.
"Rolling Leprechauns for Change" is a cute short story about the dangers of trying to pull a fast one on leprechauns.
Despite some minor editing issues common with self-published works, older elementary-aged kids and (perhaps) middle schoolers should enjoy these two quick, free romps into the words of fantasy and sci fi.
This file now includes the first eight chapters of the novella "The Little Wooden Chair." This juror is still out on whether the novella is good, but it is most certainly not cute. Told from the perspective of a wooden chair (which is distracting more than anything else), this is the tale of a little girl whose father is a raging alcoholic and whose mother is negligent to a criminal extent. In other words, it's for a completely different audience than the first two stories, and including it in the same file might present a problem for parents.
